More Easter in America

Here are a few more things we did while we were home:

Miles for Mike Fundraiser

My high school cross-country coach is suffering from cancer and in need of two bone marrow transplants. Tons of people got together to run around the track and raise money for him - and I can't think of anyone more deserving of all the love and support.

Christine and her kids Gray, Marley, and Casey.

Maya representing the cause.

Adam and Kate rocked some laps for Coach Farmer.

Maya playing with the Metcalfs.

You know what's great about being outside? You can throw the baby up as high as you can and she won't bump her head!

 Misc. Fun with Friends

We went over to the Bevilacqua house to see their new baby Alex. Maya loved playing with the big kids like Olive.

Alex.

Ale house with the Christines.

First time at the beach. A blustery day at Salisbury Beach Reservation. Too bad Pete wasn't there!
The Ferguson girls.

On Monday morning we landed back down in London. The city was so foggy you could hardly see the runway. Welcome back to the lovely English weather! Oh well, it was nice to have a few days break!

Easter in America

At the end of March/beginning of April Craig, Maya and I took a long-awaited trip home to see family and friends.

Maya trying on her new hat. She was very excited to be in America for opening day with her favorite baseball team.

Adjusting to the time change was brutal. Somebody was on English time and woke up at 4:00 AM. Craig's face says it all.
We stayed at Granny Annie's house where Maya got to sleep in  ye olde Ferguson crib.
She loved it.
Granny Annie also threw some of our old toys in the mix. It's been a while Strawberry Shortcake!

Kid time over at the Newtons
Dottie, Maya, and Miles meet for the first time!

Easter Egg Hunt

On Easter morning we went over my father's house for his annual egg hunt/battle of wits. In order to find an egg, you need to solve a riddle.
